Eclipse International to design and build Eagle Ford specific series of rigs

Eclipse International has entered a joint venture with PRS for the purchase of 2-2000HP Drillmaster rigs to be specifically configured for drilling in the Eagle Ford play in south Texas.  These rigs will be designed as part of a specific drilling system to be highly functional and powerful, to contain state of the art technology and a high level of automation.  These rigs will be very easy and fast to move.

Eclipse International and Oderco USA work together on Mast and Substructures

Eclipse International is working with Oderco USA to develop a new line of fast moving mast and substructures for our Drillmaster series of rigs.  Samir Ghalavini is a very talented engineer and we are looking forward to the development project.  The end result will be outstanding.

Eclipse International renewed our representation agreement with DGS Solutions for sales representations in South America.  David Gonzalez Sanchez is a great asset to Eclipse International and we are very happy to keep him representing our products.

Eclipse International begins design updating of the Drillmaster EZ Mover Rig

Eclipse International is beginning a design update for our Drillmaster EZ Mover series of rigs.  The new design will incorporate hydraulic rams to raise the mast and substructure and fully automated pipe handling.  The new EZ Mover DM1000 and DM1500 designs should be ready for sale in first quarter of 2012.

Eclipse International adds Automated Catwalk and Pipe Handling

Eclipse International announced today that they are adding a line of automated catwalk and pipe handling equipment to their product line.  This new pipe handling equipment reduces the amount of times rig workers need to interact with the pipe and that improves the overall efficiency and safety of the rig.

Eclipse International agrees to supply Petro-Vietnam

Eclipse International has entered into a joint venture agreement with GMHIDC and TLH Vietnam to supply Petro-Vietnam with oilfield drilling, production and power generation equipment.  This will be a very nice piece of business for Eclipse International and will help in our efforts to expand in the Southeast Asian market.

Eclipse International adds new BOP Transport and Handling System

Eclipse International announced today that it has added a new BOP transport skid and handling system to its product line. The new system allows the BOP stack to be assembled and transported on the skid and raised into place using hydraulic rams.

Eclipse International begins work on new Shallow Water Drill-Barge Rig System

Eclipse International announced today that it is working with several engineering companies to develop a new shallow water drill-barge rig system that will be able to operate in waters up to 100’ in depth.  This project is very exciting and we hope to have a prototype design ready for testing by the end of 2011.

Eclipse International adds new Carrier Style Drilling and Well Service Rigs

Eclipse International announced today that they will be adding new Cooper style carrier rigs to their product line.  This rig design has proven its ability to perform and its reliability in the field for years and Eclipse International is very happy to be able to offer our new manufacture Scorpion series of carrier style drilling and well service rigs.

Eclipse International and Letourneau Technologies Team Up

Eclipse International has formed a very close relationship with our mud pump and top drive provider Letourneau Technologies.  Mike Saathoff the sales rep at Letourneau Technologies has worked very closely with Eclipse International in our efforts to integrate as much of the Letourneau product line into our Drillmaster rigs as possible.  It is a very good fit and Eclipse International now features Letourneau mud pumps, top drives and AC drive drawworks on our Drillmaster series of rigs.
