This proprietary data collection system monitors and collects data from all of the vital rig components and delivers this data to the Eclipse wireless rig computer network.  The following systems are monitored.

 

Mud pump output pressure.
Mud pump RPM.
Mud pump electric drive motor RPM.
Mud pump electric drive motor operating temperature.
Suction tank fluid level.
Fuel tank fluid level.
Trip tank fluid level.
Rotary table and/or Top Drive RPM.
Rotary table and/or Top Drive electric drive motor RPM.
Rotary table and/or Top Drive electric drive motor operating temperature.
Drawworks weight indicator.
Drawworks Speed.
Drawworks electric drive motor RPM.
Drawworks electric drive motor operating temperature.
Drawworks brake status.
Drawworks brake temperature.
Motor/Genset motor RPM
Motor/Genset motor water temperature and oil pressure.
Motor/Genset generator output to the SCR house.
SCR input from motor/genset.

Eclipse International will also add additional monitoring functions to our existing system to meet the specific needs of the customer.

 

 

The Eclipse International Wireless Rig Computer & Video System is a complete state of the art computer network designed to operate within the harsh drilling rig environment.  The base system consists of up to 3 wireless computer workstations and a central network server and wireless router.  The system can be expanded to as many as 10 wireless workstations to meet the specific needs of the customer and also connected to the Eclipse International Website Access system.  Special armored technology developed by the US military protects the workstations from the harsh hostile working environment and prevents damage due to extreme heat, cold and exposure to liquids.

 

The video network is built within the wireless computer network allowing personnel to monitor specific workstations and rig functions from any workstation or the network server.  The base system has 3 wireless intranet video cameras and can be expanded to as many as 10 wireless cameras to meet the specific needs of the customer and as with the computer data system this system can be accessed over the internet.

 

Combined with the Eclipse Rig Data Collection System the rig personnel, tool pusher, company man, rig operator and/or owner can monitor all vital rig functions and see what is happening on the rig in a specific location in real time from anywhere in the world.  A rig owner can sit in his office or board room in Houston, Texas and see exactly what is happening right down to the water temperature of motor/genset #2 of his rig operating in Wyoming, Mexico, Africa or anywhere in the world that the rig happens to be working.  If there is no cellular access in the area Eclipse International will setup the systems to operate using satellite technology.  So there is no place in the world that you can operate and not be able to monitor what your drilling rig is doing at any given moment.

 

 

The Eclipse International Remote Drilling Rig Website Access system is designed to allow secure outside access to the Eclipse International Drilling Rig Data Collection system, Wireless Drilling Rig Computer Network and Drilling Rig Intranet from any internet capable computer anywhere in the world.  The system has several access safety components built in to prevent unauthorized access by parties not listed in the network security profile.  This limits access to the drilling rig website to users that have current passwords and login ID codes.  The system is an essential tool to drilling rig owners, production managers or drilling program designers and it allows them access to the real time data generated in the drilling process.

 

 

The Eclipse EZ Flo Mud Tank System has been designed to solve one of the biggest problems in maintaining mud quality and mud weight and that is maintaining maximum particulate suspension in your drilling fluids.  Our EZ Flo mud tanks help do just that.  The proprietary designs eliminate the dead corners of the mud tanks that cause flow restrictions due to eddie currents that form in the tank and allow for the suspended particulates to slow down in the mud circulation and to accumulate and then finally become stationary.  Our tank designs allow each tank in the system to circulate the drilling fluids very efficiently with as few obstructions as possible to impede the fluid flow.  Because of this design the EZ Flo tanks are much easier to clean out during rig down before moving the rig to a new location.  This saves time in the rig down process and allows the rig to get onto the new location faster and begin drilling the new well.  That translates into more overall wells drilled each year and that generates more revenue for the rig owner

 

 

The Eclipse EZ Pac Solids Control Elevator System is a solids control equipment skid system that allows all of the solids control equipment to be mounted in the Eclipse EZ Flo mud tank system and simply raised and pinned into operating position during rig up for drilling operations and then lowered and pinned into traveling position for transporting the rig to the new location.  The proprietary EZ Pac elevator system allows for the solids controls equipment to be lowered into the traveling position and locked into place and the mud tank roof is then lowered into the traveling position and locked into place.  The mud tank is then ready to be loaded and moved to the next location.  The mud tank basically becomes a sealed container during rig moves and this protects the tank and the solids control equipment from damage during the move.  Rig up is a snap.  Just move the tank into position, unpin and raise the roof into locked operating position, unpin and raise the solids control equipment into locked operating position, install handrails and hookup the power cords.  The tank is ready to go to work.

 

 

The Eclipse EZ Mover Oilfield Skid System is an oilfield skid system designed to allow for multiple lifting and loading options.  This new skid is stronger, lighter and easier to move from one place to another with a wider variety of lifting options.
