Eclipse International Oilfield Manufacturing currently has 2 rig up and drilling rig fabrication facilities in the Houston area. Eclipse International offers new and remanufactured drilling rigs in various sizes and horse power ratings including 500HP, 800HP, 1000HP, 1500HP and 2000HP. Our remanufactured rigs including our Eclipse Drillmaster National 110 and 1320's are all remanufactured to original specifications and include a 12 month new rig warranty. Our Sealy, TX facility has 23 acres of stabilized land, 5 rig up pad sites and over 125,000 sq ft of fabrication shop floor. The Sealy facility also has a complete sandblast and paint booth area and in this facility we are currently working on installing our own 75,000 sqft complete CNC machine shop. We hope to have it finished and on line by December of 07. Having our own in house machine shop will be a great benefit to us by enabling us not to have to wait on openings in other outside machine shops to get our machining needs handled. Our in house machine shop will allow us to efficiently repair and remanufacture drawworks, rotary tables, hook/block and crown assemblies and anything else that might need machining in the drilling rig repair and remanufacturing process. This will increase our productivity and reduce our rig build times.
The east Houston facility is located on the east side of town just off of McCarty road within a few miles of the Port of Houston. This is an ideal location for the fabrication of drilling rigs and their related components due to its proximity to the Port of Houston. The facility even has a railspur into the yard that can be used to move equipment to the port for overseas shipments. The railspur will also help overseas customers in bringing their rigs into the yard for retrofitting and remanufacturing. This facility has 13 acres of stabilized land, 2 large rig up pad sites and 64,000 sq ft of fabrication shop space complete with overhead cranes up to 35 tons. This facility also has a complete sandblast and paint booth that enables us to professionally finish all jobs that come into the yard to the customers paint specifications. There is space in the yard to stack 4 large rigs and up to 10 smaller units. The yard should have our API certification for the facility to manufacture mast and substructures in the next few weeks. Everything is on track to build this facility into one of the best fabricating facilities in the Houston area bar none.
Eclipse International Oilfield Manufacturing also offers full engineering services by utilizing both in house and highly qualified outside engineering partners and associates. Once our new machine shop is complete in December we will have full service CNC machining services as well.
